For those of you who have good memories you may recall we ran a series of online tastings throughout lockdown with some fantastic producers such as Staffordshire Distillery, Stonewall Gin and Burning Barn. These tastings included a guided tasting by yours truly along with the owners, distillers and blenders of the companies we worked with.
While the online tastings were great fun, we are really excited to announce that we can now offer in-person drinks tastings! Available to book online they are the perfect way to learn more about your favourite tipple in an interactive and fun way that everyone will enjoy. These tastings will be hosted in the beautiful Courtyard at Middleton Hall and with the drinks flowing and some delicious nibbles to match, it will be an unforgettable evening.
There are a range of tasting options to choose from with a minimum of 6 people and a recommended maximum of 10. They are perfect for groups of friends, hen and stag dos or even an office party! Our fun and informative gin tastings will be hosted by our in-house drinks expert, who will guide you through a range of five styles of gin with tonic water or mixer of your choice. Each of them created by local small batch producers, you will learn more about distillation methods and the history behind gin.

For those wishing to learn more about this delightful tipple we shall try five different styles in this interactive tasting showcasing the rise of new-wave artisan styles.
One of the oldest; if not the oldest drink that we still enjoy to this day, and you could be enjoying it with us at a fun tasting. You will get to try five different styles of beer from a blonde to a stout! You’ll not only get to taste some fantastic examples of local craft beer you will also learn about the history of beer making.
Fancy shaking up your night? The cocktail masterclass is a fantastic evening out. Not only will you get to drink three different cocktails, you will be making them yourself! Guided by our expert mixologist you will leave the evening feeling confident to shake up your own concoctions at home. You will also learn about flavour profiles and what mixes well to make a cracking cocktail.
